100+ Men Red Rock presented a $10,000 check to Best Christmas Ever in Knoxville on Monday.
Best Christmas Ever is a non-profit organization based out of Minnesota that serves families who have fallen upon tough times, through no fault of their own. Jamie Ball, of Knoxville, brought the organization to Marion County, and he says their goal is to bless local families that are nominated with a custom and unique Best Christmas Ever that is tailored to their situation.
“We just want to help restore faith in God and faith in humanity and let them know that their community cares. So, we raise money and then we raise gifts specific to their needs, show up on their doorstep, and we give them money to help set them on a new track going forward and gifts to help their kids kind of have that best Christmas ever moment. I’m sure we all have one and it’s kind of what we based it around. I remember being a kid coming down and seeing the Christmas tree and that’s kind of the effect that we want to have on them.”
100+ Men Red Rock will have another check presentation at Hospice of Pella on Thursday at 1 pm. Hear more about Best Christmas Ever on an upcoming In Touch with South Central Iowa.
