Norwalk hosted an eight-team girls wrestling tournament on Tuesday night and placed seventh with 36 points. 

The Warriors’ top place-winners were Madelyn Carroll at 120 pounds and Katie Liedtke at 170. Both girls placed third, going 2-1 with two wins by fall. Maggie Evans placed fifth at 110.

West Des Moines Valley won the meet with 137 points, followed by Pella with 124.

Norwalk’s next meet is the Ankeny Centennial Tournament on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
