The Pella Christian girls basketball team will look to get back on track tonight, as they host Van Meter in a non-conference basketball game on Eagle Lane.

After opening the season with a 67-52 victory at Davis County on November 18th, the Eagles have dropped their four last four contests to sit at 1-4 on the young season. The Bulldogs have competed in just three games so far this season, and are 2-1 on the year. The girls basketball squads at Pella Christian and Van Meter are no strangers on the court, as tonight marks the 12th meeting between the teams since the 2013-2014 season. In those matchups, the Bulldogs hold the advantage 7-4, but the Eagles won last season’s meeting 43-41 to end Van Meter’s four game winning streak in the series.
