Simpson football senior Reed Worth and sophomore CJ Hangartner were both named to the D3football.com All-Region 5 Team announced earlier this week, the first time since 2019 a player has earned all-region status. Worth was voted to the third team after catching 77 passes for 1,160 yards and 15 touchdowns, receiving triple-digit receiving yards in all but two games. Hangartner registered 60 total tackles, including 16 tackles for loss and seven sacks, while also earning A-R-C Defensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 2 after recording 10 solo tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry against Buena Vista.
