Knoxville Parks and Recreation youth basketball registration closes today. 

The parks and recreation youth basketball program is available for children in kindergarten-third grade. You can register for basketball at the front desk of the Knoxville Recreation Center. The fee to register is $35 and skills will be held January 6th, 13th, and 20th. Games will be held on January 27th, February 3rd, and 10th. Games will be held between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm in the rec center gymnasium. Knoxville Recreation Center Program Supervisor Cameron Liston encourages young kids to come out and learn the game.

“It’s a great opportunity because we start with just the basics. Everything we do is just the basics to get a good foundation to build up so that hopefully later on in their middle school and high school careers they can have that built up so they can just build from there.”

A coaches meeting will be held on December 21st.
