The Iowa High School Speech Association announced the sites where area schools will perform in the district large group speech contests in January. Pella High School was selected as one of the four district sites in southeast Iowa and will host Knoxville, Melcher-Dallas, PCM, Pella Christian, Pleasantville, and Twin Cedars. The speech teams at Carlisle, Indianola, Norwalk, and Southeast Warren will all compete at Clarke High School in Osceola. The district large group speech contests will be held after Christmas break, on Saturday, January 20th, 2024.
