While her volleyball efforts are well documented, Knoxville Senior Brittany Bacorn has put together a solid basketball career during her near four years with the Panthers. Recently she surpassed the 500 point mark and on Tuesday against Pella surpassed the 500 rebound mark. She currently has 554 career points and 504 career rebounds in her career. According to Coach Matt Ritchhart this is the first player during the Bound Era since Ashley Hawkshead in 2007 to accomplish the 500/500 feat. Hawkshead accomplished that in just three seasons before moving out of the district after her junior season. Bacorn has already signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her volleyball career next fall at the University of Tulsa.
