With the 2023 harvest season wrapped up across south central Iowa, Two Rivers Cooperative Grain Division Manager Justin Huebner says that many producers saw good yields this year.  Huebner added that despite the ongoing drought throughout the state, corn and bean production were surprisingly good, given the conditions.

“I think we were very fortunate to be in a good area of Iowa this year that there was obviously some very good yields here locally, particularly in the corn. Beans were still good but they weren’t quite the overwhelming yields that we were really, really impressed with like we saw with corn. But there were some trouble spots in the state of Iowa and throughout the Midwest, but we were fortunate in our trade territory here.”
