The #4 Indianola boys wrestling team wrapped up the 2023 portion of their schedule with a win Thursday evening in a non-conference dual against Creston, and with that maintained a stellar first half of their season. The Indians performed well at multiple tournaments and are undefeated in the dual season, with wins against Newton, Dallas Center-Grimes, and Creston, while also winning the competitive Battle of Waterloo, that included an upset of #2 Bettendorf. Head coach Clint Manny tells KNIA Sports the goal has always been to build a competitive dual team, and this year is so deep at multiple levels the guys are not only being competitive in meets, it makes the practices a battle each day. The squad gets back in action with a dual against Carlisle on January 4th.
