The Pleasantville boys basketball team currently holds a 2-5 record at winter break.

The Trojan boys have picked up wins this season against Melcher-Dallas to start the season and then captured a massive upset win on the road against the Des Moines Christian Lions. Pleasantville’s win over Des Moines Christian was the program’s first victory against the Lions in school history. The Pleasantville boys have gotten the majority of their offensive production from freshman Braylon Bingham. In his first varsity season, Bingham is averaging 21.5 points per game, which ranks eighth in the West Central Conference. The Trojan boys are 1-5 in  conference action, but will look to improve on that mark in the second half of the season, as  their roster is back at full strength after several key players missed the  start of the season.

The Pleasantville boys basketball team will be back in action on Tuesday, hosting Lynnville-Sully in the back half of a girl-boy doubleheader.
