The Indianola Public Library is open to the public after being closed for much of December for maintenance. Library Director Michele Patrick tells KNIA News the library was closed for several projects including installing cameras around the library, and replacing the tile at the entrances.
“The existing tile had been there since 1984, and it was starting to crack in places and get pretty worn. With that we had to close both entrances, so we closed the library for two weeks. It was quite a project, but the new entryway has nice, new tile and looks lovely.”
