The Norwalk Community winter sports season resumes tonight as the boys and girls wrestling teams are both set for returns to the mat.

The Warrior boys travel to Marshalltown for a quad meet at 5:30, taking on Des Moines East, Des Moines North/Hoover and the host Bobcats. Norwalk enters the meet with an 8-5 dual record.

The Warrior girls will take part in the Nevada Tournament, starting at 6:00 p.m., with a large field of teams set to compete.

Both Norwalk wrestling squads will also compete on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. The boys will host Ankeny Centennial, Cedar Rapids Washington and Knoxville. The girls head to Carlisle for a scramble against the Wildcats, Indianola and Williamsburg.
