Indianola Basketball Hosts Dallas Center-Grimes in Conference Doubleheader

A tall task is ahead of the Indianola boys and girls basketball teams tonight as they take on the Mustangs of Dallas Center-Grimes. The Indians girls take on the #1 and reigning state champion Mustangs who are undefeated in Little Hawkeye Conference play and are dominating the competition, only dropping a game to #1 in class 5A Johnston. The Indians boys also have their work cut out for them, as the Mustangs have yet to score less than 50 points in any contest and the Indians have only surpassed that one time.

Head coach Jeff Ebling says over the break they focused on what they can do to get better at the little things and the margins, as they could have several wins if they were able to pull those off so far this season.

The games will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA and simulcast on the Indianola Activities YouTube stream, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 6pm, with tip-off at 6:15.
