The Webb Shadle Public Library in Pleasantville is hosting local author Terry McGuire today. 

As part of the event, McGuire will be reading and answering questions about his latest book “The Last Letter”, which he penned under the name Larry Reynolds. Webb Shadle Public Library Director Jo Ellen Glick says that the book has ties to the city of Pleasantville and encourages the community to learn more about the book.

“The story is framed around Pleasantville and small town Iowa themes and he has local roots to the area, so this should be a very interesting discussion on the book. So, if you are around the Pleasantville area please stop by and join us for this author event.”

The event will take place at 10 am this morning and is free and open to the public.
