The Webb Shadle Public Library in Pleasantville has announced a special event that combines literature and astronomy for the total solar eclipse in April. As part of the event, NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador Volunteer Daniel Hoy will engage those in attendance with a storytime, crafts, and insights into the total solar eclipse. Following the event, each attendee will receive a pair of eclipse glasses that were donated by the Optometric Associates of Warren County, to be able to view the solar eclipse from home. The event with Daniel Hoy will take place on Monday, April 8th from 10:30-11:30 am at the library, and the total eclipse is expected to take place later that day between 12:43-3:13 pm.
