snow-6

Widespread snow is expected to impact the area starting Monday. According to the National Weather Service, a system bringing precipitation will likely start late Monday locally after spreading from west to east in the state. Most locations are expected to receive at four to seven inches of snow, and many communities could see up to 10-12 depending on the final track of the storm. Travel impacts are expected, especially Tuesday, and increased winds up to 35 MPH are in the forecast and could cause more issues even after the snow is done falling into Wednesday. Cooler air settles into the region by mid-week. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest winter weather information.
