The Pella bowling teams impacted several top five records Saturday against Gilbert on Senior Day. The Pella boys lost to the undefeated Tigers, 3160-2682, while the Dutch girls fell, 2152-2032.

Taylor Walker led the girls with a pair of 169 games and a 338 series, which placed her third on the high individual series record. McKenna Salvador finished with a team-high 174 game and a 317 series.

The girls set two team records as well. Salvador, Walker, Xavia Walker, Alaina Rozenboom, Faith Galeazzi and Peyton Donielson set third-place records for high baker round team score (704) and overall match score (2032).

Carter Failor paced the Dutch boys with a 390 series, while Zander Beckey finished with a 357. The match featured a 1052 baker round score, good for second place on the school records. The Dutch recognized five graduating seniors before Saturday’s meet. Faith Galeazzi, Alex Mitchell, Alaina Rozenboom, Megan VanderMolen and Treyson Williams are all graduating this spring.

The Pella bowlers bowl next on Saturday against Newton at Cardinal Lanes.
