Friday’s Panthers vs Cancer Game at Knoxville is drawing closer. In between the games with Clarke, many local organizations will announce how much money they raised and will contribute to the total for this year’s event. Also during that time individuals will be honored for their battle against Cancer during the honor ceremony. While the girls are focused on a big game against Clarke, they have not forgotten what the night means. Seniors Brittany Bacorn, Anna Buttell, and Natalie Collins are participating in their final Panthers vs Cancer event and tell KNIA/KRLS Sports this is a special event that makes the whole community come together.

Brittany: “I think everyone should come out because it’s so big for our community, we have the biggest one in the nation and just be there.”
Anna: “I think everyone should come out to hear the person’s story we’re honoring and pay their respects.”
Natalie: “It’s all about community and amazing to see everyone coming out and supporting that person so come out and enjoy.”

The silent auction will go live today, and can be accessed at 32auctions.com. 95.3 KNIA will carry both of the games plus the honor ceremony on Friday night. Listen for a full interview with Bacorn, Buttell and Collins and Today’s Lely Radio Sports Page on KNIA/KRLS.
