Knoxville Police Chief Aaron Fuller has been elected as the new president for the Knoxville Community Foundation, and fundraising for the 100 for $100 campaign is underway.

Chief Fuller was selected by the board for his spirit of volunteerism and his passion for the community. Over the near 40-year history, the Foundation’s primary mission has been to invest in long-term, ‘brick-and-mortar community improvement projects that have a long-lasting, positive impact on the Knoxville community. ‘100 for $100’ is the organization’s annual campaign and their largest fundraiser. Those looking to make contributions should contact a Foundation board member for more information. Donations can also be made online through their website, including using the recurring donation option, where smaller amounts can be given on a monthly basis throughout the year.

The organization also announced that the 2024 granting season is open, and the KCF will be accepting applications for support from now until April 15th. Grant applications can be found online at www.knoxvilleheritage.org or at the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce office. Applicants should be a qualifying non-profit organization whose project aims to further improve the Knoxville community.
