The PCM girls basketball team defeated Grand View Christian at home while the boys team came up short on the road against Earlham Thursday night.
The Mustang girls defeated the Thunder 57-51 and were led in scoring by junior Addison Steenhoek who had 26 points on the night. PCM coach Sami Allison-Rodriguez tells KNIA/KRLS sports that it has been a tough week with weather cancellations and no practice but she is proud of her team for finding a way to win. The win moves the PCM girls to 9-4 overall on the season.
The Mustang boys fell in their contest to the #4 ranked Cardinals 56-52. The PCM boys were led in scoring on the night by senior Jake Wendt who had 15 points. The loss drops the Mustang boys to 6-7 overall on the season.
The PCM girls and boys varsity doubleheader scheduled for tonight against Greene County has been postponed due to weather.
