HIRTA Helps is looking for volunteers to assist with transportation to medical appointments. 

HIRTA Helps is a volunteer program that encompasses the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Marion County to ensure community members are able to access their essential medical care. The organization consistently has requests for assistance with transportation from Knoxville to medical appointments in Des Moines.  Volunteers receive mileage reimbursement and supplemental liability insurance while volunteering.
