The Indianola girls basketball team won’t have seen the court for over a week before they again hit the gym in a rescheduled game from last week on Tuesday. Head coach Jeff Janssen tells KNIA Sports the Indians have continued to have high spirits in the wake of no competition.
“For us, we’ve really turned a corner mentally. Our practices have been outstanding, our girls mindsets and effort and energy have been awesome. And while we aren’t getting the results in the win column, the biggest thing I’ve been worried about is losing some of that. Credit to our girls, we’ve had solid practices. So maintaining that mentally has been key.”
The Indians get back to action Tuesday on the road at Pella Christian.
