For what seems to be the routine, rather than the exception, the Knoxville and Davis County Basketball games have been called off this time due to the bitterly cold temperatures. The Panthers Basketball Squads have had just one game in the last week and a half. Boys Coach Troy Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports everyone from the players to the coaches, are just wanting to have a normal schedule.

Pearson: “A weird week when you’re not on a set schedule. I feel like with teenagers they like that set schedule, where they have school, practice or games and then go home to do homework, video games or whatever they do, and if that doesn’t happen you just have to adjust.”

Pearson adds whatever type of schedule is thrown at them, his team and all teams have to be ready to adapt. The Panthers are now scheduled to play at Chariton this Friday.
