Wind chills well below zero will continue through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. Prolonged exposure at values 20 to 25 below zero can cause frostbite or hypothermia in as little as 15 to 30 minutes. While a brief warmup is expected Wednesday, another dip to subzero air temperatures will occur again late this week. A warm up and possibly wet week remain in the long range forecast.
