The Pella School Board will review budget package priority results from the Long Range Planning Committee and new budget projections based on another series of early retirements at their meeting today.

Presentations will be given as the board prepares to reduce general fund spending by approximately $1.2 million over the next two fiscal years. To begin the meeting, the board will consider five additional early retirees, which would total 26 staff members and administrators participating, 22 of whom leaving after the 2024-25 school year.

The board will also review results from a culture and climate survey from Humanex, consider approval of an audit request proposal, and receive a presentation about the profile of Area Education Agencies and how they impact the district.
