Corn prices have increased significantly from last season. The price of corn is over $5 right now, compared to $4.30 a season ago. Justin Huebner from Two Rivers Cooperative attributes the high prices to low yields not only in Iowa but all over the corn belt. He adds that the U.S. would like to have about one-billion bushels of corn going into next season, but this year it is looking like there will be six-hundred million bushels, with a chance at being much lower.
