The Pleasantville boys basketball team defeated Earlham Tuesday night while the girls team came up short in a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader.
The Trojan boys defeated the Cardinals 54-37 to move to 6-7 overall and 4-6 in the conference. The Pleasantville boys were led in scoring by senior Dayson Leerhoff who had 22 points and freshman Braylon Bingham who had 20. The Trojan girls fell in their contest 64-47 to move to 5-10 overall and 2-8 in the conference. The Pleasantville girls were led in scoring by junior Joelle Johnson who had 27 points in the contest.
The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will be back in action on Friday when they host Woodward-Granger.
