The Knoxville Dance Team will be displaying 30 routines for the public at their home showcase on Saturday night.
The evening starts at 5:30 pm and will be held at the Knoxville High School Gymnasium. This is an opportunity for the Knoxville Dance Team to display the performances they performed at the State Dance competition for the community, along with all the rest of their routines. There will also be performances from the KDT kids clinic and the Knoxville junior pom team. The Dance Team will also be selling poms for $1 at the showcase, and Panther hair bows for $5. Knoxville Dance Team Coach Devin Dunkin says there will be a wide range of talent on display throughout the evening.
“It’s a really good way to wrap up the end of our season. We have a dance clinic, we invite our local studio to come perform some of their routines, and then the high school dance team will perform every routine that we have done from June of last year all the way through our state routines. We get to showcase a lot of talent of dance in the Knoxville area and it’s really exciting. For the showcase we actually have 30 routines that are going to be showcased.”
