The Pleasantville girls and boys basketball teams will be hosting Woodward-Granger tonight in a West Central Conference varsity doubleheader.
The Trojan girls are 5-10 overall on the season and 2-8 in the conference, and are coming off a 64-47 loss to Earlham on Tuesday night. The Pleasantville girls will now take on the 11-4 Hawks who are coming off a close 38-35 victory over West Central Valley on Tuesday night. The Pleasantville girls have been led in scoring this season by junior Joelle Johnson who is averaging 22.3 points per game.
The Trojan boys are 6-7 overall and 4-6 in the conference, and coming off a 54-37 win over Earlham Tuesday night. The Trojan boys have won four out of their last five games and will now take on the 7-7 Hawks who are coming off a 63-47 win over West Central Valley Tuesday night. The Pleasantville boys have been led in scoring this season by freshman Braylon Bingham who is averaging 22.4 points per game.
Tonight’s doubleheader starts with the girls game at 6:15 pm and the boys game to follow.
