The roster is set for the 2024 Iowa Shrine Bowl and two local high school cheerleaders and the Pleasantville Dance Team will participate in this year’s event.

Among the 78 cheerleaders selected to perform on the Shrine Bowl Cheer Teams were Pella Christian’s Hattie Fancher and Pleasantville’s Rhya Cowden. The Trojans dance team was also selected as the lone All-Star Dance Team for the 52nd Annual event. The Shrine Bowl is an all-star football game for high school athletes and helps raise money for The Shriner’s Hospital for Children. The Trojan dance team competed at state in December, bringing home first place and the judges choice award in Class II Novelty, fifth place in Class I Color Guard, and sixth place in Class VI Pom.

The 2024 Iowa Shrine Bowl will be held on Saturday, July 20th at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
