The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad, fresh off its win over rival Melcher-Dallas on Tuesday see Mormon Trail, the other Saints in the Bluegrass Conference tonight. The Sabers lost in the Bluegrass Conference Tournament quarterfinals on January 22nd 66-33. In that game, The Sabers hit just one three point shot on 11 attempts. The Sabers typically average just under eight attempts per game. Coach Mateo Varese tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it is time for his guys to get back into everyday basketball mode after suffering through two weeks of postponements earlier.

Varese: “The snow seems to be out of the forcast, so don’t even think about snow day, get back into the gym and get in game shape. Thursday we get another chance at Mormon Trail and I’m really excited about that.”
