The Melcher-Dallas Girls Basketball Squad won a rock fight against Lamoni on Friday 41-35, and the boys lost a similar slog 49-32. The girls got scoring led by Addi Wadle with 15 points while Gabby Overgaard, Kamryn Hendrickson, and Paetyn Anderson all had ten points with Overgaard completing a double-double with ten rebounds. The boys scored just nine first half points and were plagued with poor shooting all night. The girls will play Diagonal on Tuesday while the boys are in action Tuesday at Wayne.
