The Knoxville Public Library will be holding a dangers of gambling class Thursday.

This class will be held at 2:00 pm at the library and will be led by speaker Maddy Lemons from Employee and Family Resources, talking about the negative aspects gambling can have in your life. Gambling addiction is something that affects more and more Americans everyday due to continued widespread access, especially when it comes to sports gambling and online gaming. Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson says this is an issue that affects families.

“People have all kinds of issues. People have families, family members, and loved ones that are addicted to gambling.”
