The USTFCCCA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Team Rating Index was released Tuesday and the Central College men’s and women’s track and field teams are still near the top of the list after a small drop.

The Dutch are #10 on the men’s list and #11 on the women’s after being #9 last week. The two Central rosters have 27 entries in the top 50 nationally with 10 of them in the top 10.

Men’s distance runner Noah Jorgenson is sixth in the 800 meters (1:51.25) and second in the mile (4:02.09), while Adam Sylvia is third in the mile (4:03.37). Women’s pentathlete Olivia Bohlen is seventh with a total of 3,394 points. Distance runner Caroline McMartin is fourth in the mile (4:51.34), third in the 3000 meters (9:41.47) and seventh in the 5000 meters (16:51.16). Megan Johnson is fifth in the mile (4:53.05), seventh in the 3000 meters (9:47.27) and ninth in the 5000 meters (16:53.73).

Central is joined by American Rivers Conference foes Loras College and Wartburg College in both the men’s and women’s top 25 lists. Simpson College cracked the men’s list and Nebraska Wesleyan University debuted in the women’s ratings this week.

Most of the Dutch roster is headed to the Darren Young Classic hosted by Grinnell College next Saturday. Some of Central’s top distance runners are headed to the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University next Friday and Saturday.
