Michael Chorowicz has been promoted to offensive coordinator for the Central College football squad.
Chorowicz spent the past season as Central’s wide receivers coach as the squad racked up 2,944 receiving yards and 46 touchdown catches in 10 games. Central is expected to return at least seven starters this fall from another high-powered Dutch offense. Last year’s 8-2 squad averaged 42.8 points and 442.3 yards per game.
A Liberty University (Va.) graduate, Chorowicz spent three seasons on the staff there, first as an offensive graduate intern then as an offensive graduate coach working with wide receivers. He then spent three months as an offensive analyst at Jackson State University (Miss.) before arriving at Central last spring. During his coaching tenure at Liberty, the Flames were 26-11, winning the 2020 Cure Bowl and the 2021 Lending Tree Bowl.
He received a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Liberty in 2019, a master’s in sport management: coaching and sport administration in 2020 and a master’s in business administration in 2023.
