Brian Zahnle began his role as the new general manager of Two Rivers Cooperative today.

Over the next two weeks Zahnle will work alongside current general manager Tracy Gathman, who is set to retire on February 29th. Zahnle, who has served as the Location Manager at Two Rivers Cooperative in Pella for the last six years, says that one of his primary objectives in the new role is to maintain Two Rivers’ family-first approach to the business.

“I think the biggest thing for us is, and it’s kind of our calling card being a little bit of a smaller company, is the family-first orientation of the business. We’re very family oriented and it’s nice to get to know all the employees more on a personal level. I think that’s important to our business, it’s important to who we are, and it’ll continue to be important moving forward.”
