The Simpson women’s basketball team ended their regular season with a victory Wednesday night on the road at Buena Vista winning 92-49, while the Storm men couldn’t keep up with the Beavers as they fell 103-68.

Doryn Paup scored a career-high 16 points to lead the women’s basketball team, as they led 45-25 at half then scored 31 points in the third to clinch the win.
The Storm move to 9-7 in American Rivers Conference play with the win and will be the No. 5 seed in the upcoming league playoffs.

The Storm men gave up over 50% shooting to BV, falling behind 46-28 at the break then gave up 57 second half points. Buena Vista outscored the Storm 32-4 on fast break points. The men’s season comes to a close with a record of 9-16.
