The Knoxville Recreation Center is holding an American Red Cross new lifeguard training.

The training will be held Friday, April 5th from 4:00-9:00 pm, Saturday, April 6th from 8:00am – 7:00pm, and Sunday, April 7th from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm at the Knoxville Recreation Center. You can register for this training at the Knoxville Rec Center during normal business hours and the cost for the training is $180. There is also an online portion of the class and you are required to be 15 years old to complete this training. The Knoxville Rec Center is currently in need of lifeguards and hope this training will provide opportunities for those looking for a part time job.
