Due to near perfect conditions in the fall, most farmers finished applying anhydrous to their crops early this season. Justin Huebner from Two Rivers Cooperative says that the purpose of putting anhydrous on corn is to make sure that there is plenty of nitrogen available. Huebner adds that this was the first year that he can remember since 2006 that farmers were able to finish applying anhydrous so early that they were able to get other things done around the farm, such as fixing terraces and waterways. Overall Huebner says that it was a very productive fall.
