The Simpson College Department of Music is hosting a special edition concert this evening, featuring the principal trumpet of the Des Moines Symphony Andrew Bishop. The recital will begin in the Smith Chapel where Bishop will showcase the trumpet and organ, then after intermission the recital will move to Lekberg Hall where Bishop will perform with pianist Dr. Jin Park and perform on the piccolo, trumpet, and flugelhorn. The concert is tonight at 7pm, and is free to attend.
