PCM senior wrestler Hewitt Brinegar finishes his 2023-2024 season with 48 total wins.

Brinegar ended the season with a 48-7 overall record and fell just short of a trip to the podium at the 2024 Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament. Briengar picked up 23 total pinfalls in his senior season along with 9 major decisions. Brinegar placed first at 150 pounds at the Saydel Wrestling Invitational, the Mustang Invitational, the Heart of Iowa Conference Tournament, the Southern Iowa Classic, and the district meet. Brinegar only was defeated twice by pinfall all season.
