The Knoxville Police Department wants to remind citizens of the speed limit reduction on Attica Road. 

The speed was recently reduced on Attica Road south of Main Street northbound due to the increased number of accidents at that intersection over the last year. The speed limit reduction is from 35 mph to 25 mph, but the department is still noticing high speeds near the intersection. Six accidents have occurred at that intersection over the last twelve months.
