With all the runners and throwers that the Twin Cedars Boys Track and Field Squad has, Coach Theresa Davis tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the strength of her team may be in the field events. In a recent indoor meet senior Brian Garrett looks to be a conference contender in the discus and Davis says with all of the other field events, her team could score a lot of points in those events.

Davis: “With the long jump and the shot we have Brian Garrett he should be there. When we go to Albia I’ll be looking forward to seeing what he can do there.”

Davis hopes the running events can come around once they get more chances to practice outside. The Sabers will head to Belle Plaine on March 28th to get the regular season underway.
