IMPACT Community Action Partnership is holding an energy assistance pop up event at Marion County Public Health today.

The event will be from 7:00 am-Noon and will be an opportunity to talk with IMPACT to discuss options for energy assistance in Marion County. Those who come to this event  should bring their social security card, household income information, list of all household member’s demographic information, and utility account information. Del Bennett with Marion County Public Health says this is for those who haven’t applied for assistance this fiscal year.

“This is for people who need to apply for energy assistance that didn’t apply for it in the fall. You can only apply once in the fiscal year, so if you’ve applied after July 1st, 2023 you won’t be able to apply until July 1st, 2024.”

Marion County Public Health is located at 2003 N. Lincoln St. in Knoxville.
