Habitat for Humanity of Marion County is breaking ground on three new houses this summer and is seeking potential homebuyers.
Applications are open until May 3rd. The local nonprofit has built dozens of homes in Marion County and provided low-interest mortgages, so they are affordable to low- to moderate-income families. Individuals and families with a household income of 50% to 80% of the median household income are encouraged to apply. Depending on family size, that would be a household income of approximately $35,000 and $60,000 per year.
Applications for both the new homes as well as critical home repair can be found online at www.hfhmci.org, picked up at the Habitat for Humanity office at 2004 Hempstead Drive in Pella, or emailed or mailed, if needed. For questions, contact the Habitat for Humanity office at 641-828-8844.
