While the Melcher-Dallas Boys Track and Field Squad will be down on numbers, there is no reason to not believe the Saints will have a good season. 1st year Coach Logan Templeton tells KNIA Sports it will be more individual glory for his group then team titles.

Templeton: “By the end of the season get some of their PRs down. Our 400 meter runners, they’re hoping to make it to state and some of our relays. That’s the focus when you’re a small team is to emphasize more individual accomplishments.”

The Saints will get the season underway at Meskwaki Settlement in April.
