As part of his 99-county tour, U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley answered questions about human trafficking at the weekly Knoxville Rotary meeting.

The local organization has hosted several events to raise awareness about the topic, and invited the long serving senator to discuss ongoing legislative efforts to reduce the problem. Grassley said many of the efforts to combat trafficking are bipartisan in nature, although bills related to regulating or holding social media sites accountable and disagreements about immigration remain points of contention between the two parties.
