The Simpson baseball team has started an American Rivers Conference winning streak with a 13-6 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan. Simpson scored three in the first, another two in the third, and another in the sixth to lead 6-1 going into the seventh. After seemingly putting the game away by plating another three runs in the frame, the Prairie Wolves fought back to score five runs and make it close, but the Storm scored four runs over the next two innings to seal the win. Sam Porter dominated at the plate for the Storm, hitting a pair of home runs and driving in four. The Storm have now won two ARC games in a row after an 0-5 start, and next play at Dubuque this weekend.
