Knoxville Boys Golf Cruises To Triangular Win
It was a dominating day at Pine Knolls for the Knoxville Boys Golf Squad as the Panthers ran away from both Carlisle and Pleasantville to win a triangular shooting a 146 to Carlisle’s 169 and Pleasantville’s 172. Carson Uitermarkt was medalist shooting a 34 while Evan Smith was runner up with a 35. Uitermarkt told KNIA/KRLS Sports his putts were falling and it was nice to see his teammates rise to the occasion.
Uitermarkt: “I was putting really well even though I made three bogeys, so there’s room for improvement, and it was nice to see our JV guy play well.”
Knoxville is off until next Friday as the Panthers head to Clarke for a rescheduled triangular with the Indians and West Central Valley.
