The Indianola boys and girls tennis teams, girls soccer, and boys track and field team hosted their home invitational on Friday.
The Indians boys track and field team placed 2nd with 124 points. Top finishers included August Anderson winning the High Jump and Graham Hilton winning the long jump, the 4x100m Relay team placed 1st, while Kiefer Barnes placed 2nd in the 3200m, Lathan McDaniel placed 2nd in the Shot Put, and the Shuttle Hurdle and Distance Medley Relay teams all placed 2nd. The Indians next compete Tuesday at Urbandale.

The girls soccer team fell 5-3 to Winterset. Scoring goals for the Indians included Lauren Burk with a brace, and Rylee Burns found the back of the net assisted by Leia Graham. The Indians fall to 1-4, and will next play Oskaloosa at home on Tuesday.
The Indianola girls tennis team was the best of four teams in a quadrangular at Boone. The Indians swept all positions except #1 singles, with Emily Allen winning at #2 singles, Ceris Askelson at #3 singles, and the doubles teams of Brynn Bishop/Keely Greubel and Zoey Belt/Piper Dahl at #2 doubles, Danielson/Wangler at #3 doubles all earned first place. Audra Dowler at #1 singles placed 2nd in her flight. The Indians next hit the courts Tuesday hosting Oskaloosa.
The boys tennis team ran into a tough Norwalk squad in the Warren County rivalry falling 9-2. Earning wins for the Indians included Bryson Rehmeier at #3 singles winning 6-1, 6-2, and the doubles team of Erik Jensen and Nate Winjum at #2 doubles. The Indians match up with Knoxville on Monday on the road.
